How the Course Fest helps students every semester to better plan their future

Every semester, College of Marin holds its much-anticipated Course Fest. This must-attend event is designed to help students explore the wide variety of classes and opportunities available. From meeting passionate instructors to discovering new subjects, the fest offers an engaging way to plan your academic journey. Allowing students the opportunity to meet passionate professors, ask questions, and explore new possibilities. A large assortment of food and bevarges including pizza, burritos, tacos, and gluten-free options, soda and bottled water are offered. A wide range of subjects are spotlighted such as anthropology, mythology, magic and folklore, communications, history, political science, and architecture. As well as core subjects such as geography, statistics,and English literature, and humanities. With this expansive selection, nearly every field of study is highlighted. One fun aspect is the posibility of students meeting their future professor. This provides an exclusive one-on-one opportunity for students to make a connection with faculty and ask questions. Every semester, students enjoy attending Course Fest, which allows them to make sense of their needs and desired courses so they may better plan their future. Whether you’re looking to fulfill requirements or dive into something completely new, Course Fest provides valuable insights, guidance, and inspiration all in one place. 2026 Summer and Fall class schedules are available online now, with priority registration opening on April 27th.
